My mother-in-law had a Stage 2 melanoma spot removed from her back. She was doing fine and went in for a check-up 2 months ago. She heard nothing back so she thought everything was fine. She went to her doctor and mentioned the x-rays and they told her she had a new spot on her back and a spot on both her breasts, as well as one of her lungs. Now they are setting her up with a mammogram and all the other things to check this out, but they found this out 2 months ago and never told her. So my question is, is it possible that these spots are just growths, and if they aren't has this two month span possibly jeopardized her success rate?View Thread
