It's bad enough we get mood swings and hot flashes but add weight gain and no wonder we have mood swings! Before preimenopause I could eat anything and no weight gain at all. Now anything I eat requires 1 hour of exercise to keep it off my hips!
Many women experience an odor when the PH balance is off. Drinking plenty of water will help maintain the proper balance. Some women claim that eating yogurt can also help with vaginal odor. Although, I don't know this for sure because I hate yogurt, it couldn't hurt to try it.

Mood swings are sometimes very volatile to the ones that are closest to us. Our loving families stand in shock while we have an uncontrollable mood swing. Some women on this community have stated their mood swings are so bad that their husbands are threatening to leave them.

Many women on this community can identify with your pain. WebMD's Rheumatoid HC has some information that I hope will help. Menopause and RA states:
"Researchers are not yet sure why, but hormones seem to play a pivotal role in RA. Nearly three times as many women get RA as men. Many women who have RA see their symptoms get better or even disappear while they are pregnant, maybe because their estrogen levels go up. When estrogen levels drop around the time of menopause, RA symptoms may flourish. Joint aches can be a symptom of menopause, so for women with RA, joint pain and inflammation may increase. In addition, many women first develop RA symptoms at around the time they hit menopause."
