I tried amberen a year ago. I took the double dose and it stopped my sweats which had been coming very 40 mins and were drenching me. After the 2nd lot I was advised to cut the dose down . The sweats returned and even doubling the dose again didnt work. I must say the rep I dealt with was great even giving me a free supply to carry on with. No luck. A hormone test revealed my progesterone was so low I hardly had any. A year of taking bioidentical hormones has improved the severity of the sweats but I still wake 2 hourly with them. Have tried dexarit and that worked for 2 weeks then nothing . Good luck to you and when I find the answer I will let you know.View Thread
