I'm 62, way past menopause. Before menopause, I would receive abnormal pap smears, which when repeated would report normal. I went 3 years without a pap smear because of no insurance. When I did go, the gynecologist said he couldn't do one because my cervix was closed. He wanted to perform a procedure that I couldn't afford at the time. Now, it's 2 years later and I went back. He scheduled a LEEP for me. I don't have bleeding but also haven't had intercourse in 9 yrs. I read that the LEEP can cause stenosis, so I wonder if this is something I should have. I had a LEEP many years ago. My other question is, will it be possible for me to have intercourse if I decide I want it. In addition, I haven't taken any hormones for menopause. Thank you for any help you can give me.View Thread
