Like I said, I'm very active, I've averaged over 3000 running miles for the last three years. I've competed since I was in my early 20's. I'm 5'7" / 139 lbs. BMI - 21.8 / low body fat. The only possible [simple> explanation for my pain is that instead of working 40 hour weeks I'm now spending most of my day camped on the sofa watching TV / on-line. I'm running twice a day and sometimes seek in a 3rd XT session but I'm spending a lot more time sitting than I have for the past 33 years.
The discomfort hasn't gotten to the point I feel it merits an office visit but at the same time I don't want to assume it's just simple muscle soreness. I'm actually more concerned about this affecting my upcoming half marathon than anythng. I tweaked my back a few years ago changing a tire and got relief via acupuncture but this isn't anywhere as debilitating as that. I'm running 70-80 miles per week whereas I couldn't do that with strained my back. Thanks in advance.View Thread
