I don't know what to do with what is going on. Should I make an appointment to see my doctor to change my medication? It is getting very annoying having headaches everyday or two.
Some advice would be welcomed.
Thanks,
Laura

I get a migraine every time a new pressure front moves through. Right now I have a severe one and there is a strom front moving through tomorrow. I found it can be a low front or a high front it doesn't matter which one just the change in pressure is all that is needed to set my migraines off and it's really anoying cause here in South Dakota because it seems like the weather changes alot. We have as say here that if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes and it will change.

I am so frustrated with trying to figure out what will work for the severe migraines/headaches I have been getting and just pain in general. Last night I had migraine I would rate as a 10/10. I tried the Soma 350mg, 3 Ibuprofen 200mg, Biofreeze on my neck and shoulder and an ice pack. Also lying still in a dark quite room. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep. I debated about going in to the ER but didn't because I decide I would see my primary today if I still had a bad headache. When I woke up it was almost all gone I mean it was down to a 4/10. However it hasn't completely gone away the meds don't seem to help much.
I just need some advice about what I should try now and what I could ask my dr that we could try out. I don't know what to do any more and I just feel so frustrated.
Any advice would be welcomed.
Thank You,
Laura

Yes weather changes and changes in the barometric pressure can trigger migraines. Most of mine happen around weather changes like when we get a snow storm right now or thunder storms are coming then I get really bad headaches. My migraines are also on the left side around the eye and temple area. I have found that Tylenol arthritis works somewhat for the headaches if I take them right away but now I have some prescription meds that work better for me.
I hope this helps you.
