! What to do, What to doView Thread
After the first month of this, I saw a neurologist and had a brain MRI. The MRI was negative, and I moved on, hoping that my symptoms (which began immediately after a vaccination) symptoms would go away.
Unfortunately, after about 6 weeks mostly symptom-free, all of my symptoms have returned. I've also made a connection with a back pain I was having before. The pain went away when I was symptom free, but it too is back. It feels like a bruise on one vertebrae.
I'm worried that I might have MS even though my brain MRI was negative. Should I get a spine MRI too?
Is it common to have these symptoms without any real muscle weakness. I feel tireder that usual, but not really weak. I'm 40 years old before these symptoms appeared, I exercised daily and felt perfectly health.
Could this be MS?
THANKS!View Thread
I have had "symptoms" for over 10 years and no definite diagnosis. I have tremors...which have slowly progressed, For the past 5 years I have developed extreme heat sensitivity. when i was initially tested 11 years ago, I was experiencing tremors, numbness in my left arm, and left side of my face. I had several MRI's(C spine and brain) C-spine was OK, brain showed 6 lesions. I was tested for Lyme's, vitamin deficiencies, and had evoked potential testing done. I was told at the time that I did not meet the criteria for an MS diagnosis, but it was possible that this was the problem with me. Now, I have increased tremors, heat sensitivity (this has gotten worse), spascisity in my right arm, and the facial numbness is back. I am also experiencing some muscle pains the past few days. I am scheduled for an MRI in the beginning of March, but am scared to death that by waiting, I may being getting worse without any treatment. I have to wait until next month due to insurance deductible being met...its EXPENSIVE to be sick! Researching over the past few days, I am torn at seeing information that sounds so much like me pointing to MS, part of me happy(?) to possibly have a diagnosis, and part of me terrified of what having MS would mean. Anyway, I wanted to post, because maybe people who are reading this know the boat I am in...as its really tough to explain to people who aren't in the "been there done that" category.View Thread

Since Feb 1st, I have been having a migraine that is also causing other problems like dizziness, the room will spin, my eyes feel like they will blow out of my head if I dont keep my eyelids closed and lack of appetite. I also have weakness in my right side and also just am sleeping like constantly. I went to bed on Feb 1st around 7pm and woke up Feb 4th at 10am. I am not sure if this is an excarbation or something else.
Has anyone else gone through this? Is this a flare up or what? I am not on any meds for my MSView Thread

Also, what type of doctor would make this ruling? A neurologist? A rheumatologist? I am just so worn out of not receiving answers and my health continuing to spiral. I am losing my ability to function normally societal, or family wise.. HELP!View Thread
And I mean overnight! One day i'm this model of fitness and the next, I cannot do any physical activity without excrutiating pain. The symptoms come and go, though!
When my condition flares up, for example, I can only walk for 9 out of 18 holes while playing golf, and the last three holes of those first nine are very difficult. I use to run 30 miles a week. After 9 holes, my feet swell, not the skin but the flesh/muscle tissues underneath, and for the next two days it feels as if I am walking on broken chards of glass.
I am describing only one of my symptoms above. I also wake up with half of my face tingling, sometimes hard to see immediately out of the one eye (on the side I was sleeping on), even my head feels tingly and hear this almost constant "chirping" noise in my head, a bit like crickets in the distance. I struggle digesting any fatty food, many vegetables especially leafy greens. Any part of my body that is expose to a constant pressure for a period of time will display the same symptoms as my feet. I have unexplainable muscle cramping. Eusophagus cramping/spasms are the most painful. It will start as hickups now and then to quick repeated hickups, to cramping of eusophagus onto a cramp that will not go away for 10 to 15 minutes.
I have covered only part of my symptoms. If anyone can share anything with me that would lead me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate.

I experienced the most weirdest thing ever, about two months ago i woke up and was completely blind in both eyes for about 5mins then a week ago my whole right side went floppy, numb and tingling. I thought i was having a stroke. My face dropped and my speech was slurring. I was taken to the hospital where I had an MRI and CAT scan which both came back normal. I also had a lumber punch still awaiting results! My right side is still the same with little improvement, and i find daily tasks difficult. I was told that i might have carpal tunnel but every time I investigate on the web my symptoms it comes up with MS??????????????View Thread
However, in the context of this, I have developed severe muscle cramping in my lower buttocks and hamstrings (both legs) - sometimes feel as if something is pulling my butt down to the ground, difficult to walk. Occasionally, when I get up from sitting, or while walking, my right proximal adductor seems to dramatically "catch" for a few moments, if I wait it settles down as if nothing happened. (Everybody around me stares, it's embarrassing!) I was in physical therapy last spring with severe pain on standing, PT said contracture of left obuturator internus muscle. Things slowly got better but now this. Is worse in evening, use flexaril for sleep, first few hours in morning are difficut. Goes away with activity for afternoon, early evening. Primary thinks its the stenosis, husband disagrees, have not been back to neuro or PT. Any thoughts?View Thread
. So ill start from the geginning. About 4 weeks ago i bgan have some dizziness, nothing too bad though. Well it continued and got much worse. Its been 4 weeks now. Althoough the past 2 days i have felt almost normal again. I started having what i described to the dr tunnel vision and blurred/double viosion. I am very fatigued. I can fell it coming on sometimes because my face will start to tibgle and feel kinda num, same thing happens to my tongue. As soon as I thionk i am feeling this i go stright to lay down. I can talk but it is vvery slurred, and according to my husband ill talk about things tht dont make any sense. Also when he or my children try to talk to me it souns kinda like my head is under the water. Also ive been having extremely bad memory loss. the most recent thing thats been ahppening is that i have an extremely dry mouth. this has been going for 3 days now.Im also very cold all the time,, and all the muscles in my body constrict so bad sometomes i cant open my hands because they are so clenched. another symptom is that if I talke a hot shower or bath it seems to trigger things. My Dr said it was most likely MS or seizues on the brain. It will be 2 weeks before i can into get the mri and eeg done, unfortunately i dont have insurence so i have to just wait to see if they will approve it. Ive had to take a leave of absence from work because i never know when its going to happen. I havent left my house almost a monht because of it. So I didnt know if anyone has or have experienced any of these symptoms. other than this health issue i am perfectly fine, never really had any illness before except a cold. So if anyone can relate, please reply back. Thank You. Have blessed dayView Thread

No, no bad side effects here. I take it at bedtime and don't have nausea, stinky farts, or dizziness. It seems to be doing something good for me.View Thread
