Does anyone else ever feel this anxious feeling? I have noticed that I have this feeling alot lately..is that normal? I have really never been afraid to do any procedure so I don;t think it is that.. Maybe I feel I am getting close to a diagnosis and I am feeling anxious about that.
I don't know why I feel like jumping out of my skin but I do. The dr gave me a valium to take before I have the test so I know that will help. Just how important is the LP anyway..I think she just needs some positive test result to help with a diagnosis. I had a MRI data only of the gray matter of my brain and a VEP test last week, do not know the results yet.
Your thoughts needed.
Thanks, JudyView Thread

I like her approach, she is really looking into the gray matter lesions (something the other neuro never even mentioned to me), she said most of my symptoms are indicating gray matter activity rather than white matter. We'll see..
Thanks again,

I also had a VEP test, am scheduled for LP on the May 11th and some other type of test that I forgot what info it will provide. I am concerned about the atrophy and would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks,

She also told me that may be why I have short-term memory issues and also experiencing problems with the ability to do the things that used to come natural to me and now I have to think abut what I am doing. She says this is significant to GM lesions.
we will see. Anyway, thanks for your help as always.

You know these MRI have a 250.00 copay and the brain, C-spine and T-spine are considered individual tests so I had three copays of 250.00 each. It is rather expensive to be sick, isn't it?View Thread

I am tired of messing with the neurologist that I have been seeing so I am going to follow through with the immunologist and go from there. Sadly, here it takes a while to get in with specialists.
I have seen my opthamologist about a month ago and he has scheduled me for a vision field study next week, don't know if that is what I need or not. Is this the same as the VEP test?
thanks for your concern

I woke up last night with bad pain in my left eye, it was so strong that I had to get up and put cold wet cloth on it..it hurt for about 45 min and then next morning, my vision in that eye was even more blurry than before and had headache for most of day. Just feel blah today, very tired.View Thread

This site has brought me much understanding and answered many of my concerns and questions. Don't ever let anyone tell you it is not good for you (I know friends and family mean well) but talking with other people experiencing the same thing you are is very supportive and no one can really understand without being in the same situation.
It will also help if you break up your paragraphs..for some odd reasons it is hard to read a long paragraph..have you also noticed that you find yourself wanting to watch 30 minute shows on TV rather than a 2 hour movie..how wierd is that..or is it just me.
Hope you feel better soon..Stay strong..God bless you.
