My back pain started about a year and a half ago. I've had tingling sensations as well as pain in my legs and arms for I don't even know how long. I also experience terrible burning sensations in the heels of my feet. I have always been considerably clumsy, but I've never felt like that was something I could control. It just felt like I was out of balance, or not able to balance very well. As a child, I was always sick with something. I had a very weak immune system. I was diagnosed with anemia, I'm not sure if that would at all be related but I do experience fatigue and exhaustion which could be related to either anemia or MS. I get dizzy quite often.
I played basketball for 15 years so of course, my parents think that is the reason for the back pain and pain in my legs and arms. But the more that I research MS and talk to my doctor about it, the more that I feel like I will soon be diagnosed with it. It might be my own paranoia playing tricks on me, especially since I am considerably young but I thought I would post on here to get some feedback and maybe some support. Thank you so much!View Thread

I'm so sorry to hear about that! I've also recently learned that depression is often associated with MS, which I was diagnosed with both depression and an anxiety disorder about seven months ago. I'm not sure if that's an issue with your daughter, but I would suggest watching out for that as well as the other symptoms. At 13, I'm not sure if that would present to be an issue or not. (But then again, at 13, you're always mad at the world about something.)
but thank you so much! I appreciate it! I wish you and your daughter the best of luck!View Thread
