Hello Kim, yes, I had mri cervical spine, no lesions were found. I feel like the ms specialist is playing games as well. These doctors down here in Miami tend to get mad when you dont have everything done in their center. I've already had 2 mri peformed with the neuro surgeon, however, the ms specialist wants me to get a third one because it wasnt done in his center. This is all rediculous! Having a third mri in one month is crazy and is a lot of money..MY symptoms first started when I developed a digestive problem and i fell into malnutrition for 6 months. I had a vitamin d defcient because of it, however, the doctors would not test me for vitamin c deficient, my tongue was completly white and thats when I developed widespread body pain. Since, I've been taking vitamin c powder my symptoms have improved by 50%. I go see my RA doctor tomorrow to have my ANA levels checked again. MY ANA has gone from negative to positive and back to negative...When I developed the malnutrtion thats when I started having food allergens and dizziness whenever I ate something early....I'll probably be tested for diabetes as well.. ThanksView Thread
Hello everyone, I had my first spinal tap yesterday. It seems like everything is dragging out. I already had an mri with 1 brain lesion. However, my neurologist and ms specialist are saying it doesnt look like typical ms brain lesion. But the ms specialist said I probably have more lesions that arent showing.. In addition, one of my nerologist said if my my ST comes back negative he'll diagnose me with panic disorder. This is all very aggervating..What does panic disorder have to do with a brain lesion, bone pain, and tingling/twitiching in the face, arms and legs along with digestive problems. My main symptom is bone pain in the legs along with tingling electrical feelings and weakness. Does anyone else have bone pain in the legs and does anyone else exp delayed menstruation? I also feel dizzy and fatigue depending on what foods I eat early in the am. ThanksView Thread
Hello Kim, I cannot take any of those meds. I've tried them already and Im alergic to them. I have a chemical sensitivity. Muscle relaxers causes acid reflex flare ups in me. Gabapentin and Lyrica increased my tingling and numbing symptoms... I have a hiatal hernia so its hard for me to take certain meds because my digestive systom goes haywire. I just came back from the neuro sugeon today. He going to discuss spinal tap with MS specialist and they are also going to serch for other conditions as well as infectons. Yes, Dave I had spinal MRI and it showed no lesions. However, I have really bad neck pains/stiff neck. In addition, a year ago I got bit by sevral ticks and lyme test came back negative. However, I heard that you can still have lyme with a negative test result, not sure how true that is.?? Kim and Dave, how long have you had Ms? Thanks Kim and DaveView Thread
