I have to wait until the new year to see a specialist due to my health insurance changing again. I would see the neurologist that couldn't figure out whether is was MS or Stroke, but she will not see me because I had seen another neuro due to insurance changes back then too; which I think was wrong of her to do considering she was highly recommended, you know? I'm getting more dizzy episodes and it doesn't matter whether I'm sitting, standing or lying down. In constant pain for 4 to 5 straight months now, fatigued, etc. etc. I'm getting frustrated big time.View Thread
Late October, my primary had done some x-rays and said i have degenerate disk disease in C5-6 a long with some other minor things which I have forgotten, but he does suppect MS too. I am on this muscle relaxer called soma? I try not to take it as much as the doctor want me to, but if I don't then I wind up having upper and lower body tremors. He can't full say it's MS yet because my health insurance is changing again. So I have decided to wait until the new year to see a specialist. I'm so tired of the pain, numbness, dropping things that it's driving me insane. I used to love the heat too here in Las Vegas, but now for the past 2 summers in a row I had to stay inside my house most of the day due to the heat. I will try the dragon speech and see how it goes. I haven't been able to access my watch list because I forgot my pass word, but it all taken care of now. I will update you further the more I find out and thank you so much for your reply.View Thread
Thank you Kim. It turns out I'm not able to move at the time. So now I need my Doctor to find a good neurologist here in Las Vegas. I'm getting more and more upset with constantly dropping things. Very frustrating for me. I feel that every time I take 2 steps forward, I wind up taking 10 steps backwards. I will keep you posted if and when I found out anything.
Thank you for replying. My name is Tanya. I will definitely look for a specialist when I move back to Arizona. I hear they have great specialists in AZ. Las Vegas, not really. I know your not a doctor, but what is your opinion. I do not have a current neuo due to him billing and double billing insurances his company didn't accept. So I'm kind of in a hard spot right now until I move this Oct. I will pop in from time to time and will post an update when I get results. Thank you once again Kim. I'm a little more calmer than my first post lol.
I'm having problems dropping things more often than I like too and my doctor doesn't take it too seriously. There's more symptoms like, shaking and tremors when relaxed or active, stiffness and pain, fatigue most of the time, unexplained weakness in arms, hands, and legs sometimes, sometimes urine incontinence and most times constipated, and dropping things often (of course) and trying to grab something and failing making me keep trying multiple times till I do get it. I was seeing a great neurologist and had countless MRI's all showing white matter in my frontal lobe and she can't tell whether it's MS or a stroke. I would see a new doctor, but location is an issue. This irritates me greatly because I feel as if I'm not getting a straight answer. I am on a online college and it requires a lot of typing. A lot of times its a problem because my fingers will not do what I want them to do (which takes me many hours to complete an assignment). Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm irritated and scared.View Thread
