Searching for what is the best mattress to get a good night sleep! I know this is not directly related to M.S. which I have for 17 yrs now but I need to get better sleep. Shopping around and checking online reviews but I though I would ask the experts that also have M.S. and that is you. Having pain in joints causing me to toss and turn so I am seriously considering Tempur-Pedic type. By the way long overdo purchase I sleep on a day bed lol. What are your thoughts? Thank you! The heat issue has not been an issue at all. As a matter of fact it seems just like a regular mattress but much softer, a love the adjustable base. Since I have pain on my shoulder from sleeping on it for years I have switched to sleeping on back. It takes time to undo old habits but this bed has made it easier to change!View Thread
Have M.S. since 1994 and work in sales/design in ceramic tile. I am experiencing more ofter the loss of thought and memory. Knowing something very well and suddenly my mind goes blank and cannot remember. Forget trying to multi-task that does not work. It is scary when you are working with a client and I try to work around it hoping no one notices. I am on S.S.D.I. but being single I have to try to work to pay bills. My co worker knows of my M.S. but gets annoyed with me and says things like I already told you that! That just stresses me more. Any suggestions? I want to find another job but feel like I am in a box. Thank you, TerryView Thread
I agree with Kim. Write it down try to explain that way. I am sorry you are having such difficulties and I understand. It can be scary sometimes I wonder if it is beginning of Alzheimer. I posted on here about work and my cognitive thoughts, how my mind just goes blank. I sometimes say the wrong things too. Make sure you check in with a doctor about all your symptoms write them down so you don't forget. Now I am dealing with heart issues. I have had palpitations for years but now I have Tachycardia and they don't know why. I still think it has to do with M.S. but they so no. I scheduled for surgery in a couple of weeks to fix it a Catheter Ablation. Scary!! TerryView Thread
My doctor told me to go and apply for S.S.D.I. she also gave me phone number of Attorney. I called attorney and applied through that way. It only took 6 months and I was approved. I know there were several factors regarding including disability, M.S. and had hip replacement surgery, my age, lack of experience so on. Did you talk to attorney or apply on your own?
Thank you for that information, I never heard of that before. I usually just take a multi vitamin for over 50 and extra vitamin d. I have used the bee pollen in a cream for skin years ago. I am glad it is working for you!View Thread
