Her new illness should not have any impact on the effectiveness of her flu vaccine. It would be good to let your doctor know that she is not feeling well though.

The most recent "breakthrough" seems to be the use of a pacifier. I don't personally recommend that every baby sleep with a pacifier, but some expert feel that this may may play a role in continuing to stimulate some babies during sleep.
Until we better know what causes SIDS, I recommend that babies sleep on their backs, in their own space, on a firm baby mattress, close to mom but not in the same bed.
I hope that someday soon we will have a proven theory so that we can all rest easier at night.View Thread
