It is very frustrating to hear this, I am sorry this happened and has you concerned. Dr. Benaroch has responded to similar questions on our Parenting Community, I didn't find one about varicella though.
You may want to repost your question on our Parenting Community for possible response.
I have started using the Vaccine Tracker to keep track of my families vaccines. Check it out, it may be good to keep handy to compare with doctors office at vaccine appointments.

Wow, and he is completely asleep? How old his he now? Is he still in a crib?
While waiting for others to respond see this info on sleepwalking.
My brother was/is a sleepwalker. When he was younger we had a gate at the top of the stairs, my mom would hear him trying to get over it and walk up to direct back to bed.

Poor little guy, this has to be so frustrating for both of you! Best to check with his doctor since unfortunately I could not find lysine specific info.

This year I am most thankful for my friends, without whom I would not be able to be a working mom and wife. Since I do not have family around they have become the family I need to keep myself sane!
