Hello! There used to be updates but this board has slowed way down missing all the ladies and updates. Yay, one year that's awesome! Lochlan is now 18 months old 34 inches 27 lbs, he's a big boy wearing 24 month clothes. Me and my husband tried for 3 yrs for him so he's our little miracle baby love him so much. He'll be an only child which is fine though sometimes I get baby fever not sure why lol. View Thread
Definitely take him in to see the pedi sounds like an ear infection to me, my little guy seems to get them everytime he gets a cold though last time he gave no indication it was found at his 15 month check-up. Since he's running a fever just go ahead and take him in. Good luck hopefully they can clear this up and you both can get some sleep! View Thread
Lochlan is 13 months old! 24lbs and 33 inches (at the last doc visit)
No more formula, yay! We decided to cold turkey little bit with bottles, but the sippy cups with straws are awesome he loves them. He drinks his milk and water from them. He's walking much better, had some spills but not too bad.
We've gotten into the separation and stranger anxiety, he screams if a stranger tries to hold him. If I leave him alone in a room(usually just to grab something from the kitchen, while he's behind the baby gate) he screams and gets himself worked up until me or daddy come back. It's a bit frustrating but one of those phases
Ah, mommy me time, hmm what's that, lol. I did go to the grocery store and left little man with daddy, it was nice to get out on my own
Well, since daddy had to work me and little bit hung out, since his walking is better he zooms around the house getting into everything, but he's such a joyView Thread
A little late on the update, but what the heck! Lochlan is a year old! 24lbs and 33 inches Well, we found out that he's not allergic to peanuts, eggs, milk or soybeans, yay! He's been off the bottle for about 3 weeks and doing great, still a bit difficult to figure out snacks, but we are getting the hang of feeding him solids 5 times a day lol! Me time, mmm, does taking a shower when the baby is sleeping count lol Feeling the fall here, starting to get cooler at night!View Thread
Nothing new since he's been walking for the past couple of months except when we went to the doctor for his 12 month checkup we can face him forward in his carseat, yay! Got his 12 month vaccinations and he did really good.
Monday Moans - Took him to get tested for allergies to peanuts, soybeans, milk and eggs. Broke my heart when they stuck him with the needle to take blood and he wailed
Time to myself, what's that? Lol
How's the weather where you are? It's starting to get cooler at night which is so nice, glad the cooler weather is here.View Thread
Hello, and congrats on your little girl! My son is 2 weeks away from being a year, I can't believe how fast the time has passed. That's wonderful that she's sleeping for such long stretches during the night, and it definitely helps you I would nap when he would nap and that helped too since giving birth is extremely tiring mentally and physically.View Thread
LO's Age and Stats - 10 months 22lbs 30 1/4 inches
Fun Firsts - What's new and exciting? Went to the doctor for his 9 month visit and he's doing great, growing like a little weed. Still cruising but can now stand on his own for short periods of time.
Monday Moans - New struggles or just something you need to get off your chest? Found out that he's got a double ear infection at the 9 month doc visit and had no signs(fever, fussy, etc). Been on antibiotics for almost a week and he seems to be feeling much better.
Time for ME - What are you going to do just for YOU this week? One of the most important things you can do to rejuvenate yourself to to take some ME Time! Not much going on this week, though it's nice when hubby is at work and baby is napping to take a nice shower. Will be finished with school this time next month and then I can work and we can save toward a house!View Thread
Ah yes I remember after my baby was born my feet and ankles swelled up something awful, my feet looked like sausages it was awful. The best thing you can do is drink plenty of water, that will help flush that out. Also, try propping your feet up and getting around and taking a stroll. I know I was pretty sore after so I couldn't walk far but it helped. It took about 2 weeks to finally go down. Hope this helps.View Thread
LO's Age and Stats - 9 months, I think he's hitting the 25lb mark, he's heavy and prolly over 30 inches by now
