My little guy is doing the same thing, he ravenously eats when he gets up and it conks him back out. Though lately he's been teething so we're thinking the pain is waking him up (we can see a tooth on the brink of breaking through the gums). Last night I gave him some extra food and ibuprofen, the pain reliever helps a lot for teething. Maybe she's teething? Or perhaps a growth spurt. Hope this helps.View Thread
Fun Firsts - What's new and exciting? He's starting pulling himself up more and more, also been cruising a bit. He can now go from a standing position to sitting without falling. Trying somemore solids
Monday Moans - New struggles or just something you need to get off your chest? Been teething so he's been very uncomfortable, he also got terrible gas from broccoli so probably gonna wait on those.
Plans for the week or how was your weekend? Hubby has to work so we celebrated Mother's day this past weekend.
Time for ME - What are you going to do just for YOU this week? One of the most important things you can do to rejuvenate yourself! Finally gonna get my hair cut been needing to do that for a while (haven't done it since he was born).View Thread
Well, my little guy is a week away from 8 months and is doing so good. He's been crawling for about a month and boy is he fast! He just started pulling up and taking steps while holding onto the coffee table, sofa, etc. He's also getting into everything we've had to baby proof and move things out of his reach. He's so determined to get moving that I think he gets a bit frustrated sometimes especially when he falls on his butt. Finally saw a tooth emerging the other day and I think more are coming as he's been extra fussy, poor little guy. He's such a sweetie though flirts with all the women when we go to the store. Hi and welcome! So glad your little man is here and he's so cute. I remember when my little guy was that little. So sorry to hear about your trouble with the epi and the resulting pain after it, hope you get better soon. Oh and take advantage of your hubby doing everything you need to get better for both of them.View Thread
Thank you all so much for your responses, it helps to know that he's not the only one without teeth. Kell0613 I remember you from the 3rd trimester boards, we were close in our due dates. Yesterday I noticed a whiteness on his lower gums and when we looked closer there is a tooth making it's way out of the gums, it's just the bud but he's getting a tooth! Hopefully it won't cause him too much pain though he seems to be handling it pretty well and the drool has lessened.View Thread
My son is almost 8 months old and hasn't cut any teeth yet, I've talked to other mothers and their babies have 4 to 6 teeth already while mine has none. I was just wondering if anyone else's babies were later in cutting their teeth. He does drool and chew on everything constantly. Mine didn't emerge until I was 9 months, but I was 6 weeks premature and he was born 1 day before his due date. I know it's normal to not have teeth until 9 or 10 months and theirs not much I can do. Just wondering if any other mother's have gone through this, waiting on teeth to emerge. Thanks in advance.View Thread
Name: Alison LO(s): DS, 7 almost 8 months, Lochlan
Milestone Update: Well, today little man stood for the first time on his own, holding onto something. I was able to snap a quick pic before he sat back on his butt. Now that he's learned how to crawl he can zoom around the house with incredible speed. He can say da-da, ma-ma and ba-ba for his bottle. Sometimes he says Hi but that is pretty rare.View Thread
Hello! I've been lurking here for a while and I agree about the comradery of the pregnancy boards. Right now I'm a stay at home mom with our 7 month old son Lochlan who is growing so fast. He's the height of a 1 year old, crawling and babbling up a storm. He's our sweet little angel and we're really starting to enjoy watching him learn, grow and get into everything lolView Thread
Hello, my name is Alison and Lochlan just turned 7 months. He's such a happy baby and a joy to be around but the size of a 1 year old so he's our big boy. He's sitting up on his own, crawling, now we're waiting on his teeth to come in which have yet to erupt.View Thread
