Yes my son does the same thing me and hubbi play fight alot well until Kaden was born. He does the same exact thing. Kaden is about to be a year old at the end of this month and he still flips if we shove tickle push around he is not okay with it. He mainly runs over to me and crys like daddy is hurting me..but he isnt. We try not to play fight around him anymore and if we do I make sure to laugh and giggle but it dosnt help much. Good luck your not alone.View Thread
Share your LO's Age and Stats - Kaden just turned 11 months yesterday AHH oh how the time flys. I am assuming he is around 20 pounds now he was 18 pounds at his last doctors appt when he was nine months.
Any Fun Firsts - He is officially a walker!! He only will walk to me or daddy but he is standing on his own and taking three or four steps then down on his butt he goes but oh goodness its so exciting!!!
Monday Moans - Between long hours at work and unwelcome guests in my house its been a long week...and its only wednesday . Oh well.
What are you going to do for yourself this week? Well im re- reading the hungar games because I LOVE THEM BOOKS! I bought the movie the other night so I think I might have to go get a pizza and watch my movie! I am also planning Kadens birthday I cant believe it! Hubbi and I are thinking mickey mouse club house theme!
How's the weather where you are? Beautiful! Too nice to be stuck in the basement of my job with no windows View Thread
LO's Age and Stats - He is 10 months now and I cant believe it. 18 pounds and some odd onces.
Fun Firsts - Well we are waiting for him to take his first steps but it hasnt happened yet still cruisin around with his walker he is so fast I think he is going to be a runner rather than a walker lol. I guess he did learn to dig in his puffs and pull the top off and start eating them right out of the canister I usually have to put them on the table.
Monday Moans - Well its now Friday but wow its been a LONG week picked up extra shifts at work.
Time for ME - Time for me haha. When Kaden goes down to bed I usually clean or put my head phones in and jam it makes me feel brand new with a positive additude. Hubby has had way to many friends at the house this week so extra cleaning for me and not a lot of space to go be alone oh well.
The positive this week its our county fair! Oh how I love fair food! Going tonight after im done with work. Hubby brought Kaden the other day and I guess he loves it. I cant wait to see his reaction to all the lights and what not tonight. Only three more hours I can do this lol. Hope everyone has a good weekend. View Thread
Okay so my son was acting up it started on Saturday at three a.m. he was really fussy and running a temp. We made him comfortable and finally he went back to bed. I had to work on satuday so my grandma took him the from noon to 7:30 he was really fussy all day. She brought him to urgent care where they said he has an ear infection and a little bug of some sort. When I got him home he would not eat or drink ANYTHING the whole night. I asked my grandma how he was and what he had the whole day and she said he had a bottle around 3 and a half of baby food jar. His last wet diaper was at 5 oclock that day as well. After a long night of non stop crying and his refusal to drink or eat anything and no wet diapers or bowl movments I decided to take him to E.R. I told them I was afraid he would dehidrate (sp.) They told me he wasnt which I knew it wasnt to a bad level but felt concerned they dissmissed how i felt and told me to come in only if his lips were dry as well as his mouth. Now I dont know if im a over reactive first time mother or if that seems a little extreme...I mean dont you think you would want to get him hydration instead of waiting for him to be completely dehidrated? I just am beside myself and could use some advice or encouraging words. TIAView Thread
Thanks ladies. I told them I wanted to tlak to someone in peds but they said it wasnt nessary. Its been a few days he is finally coming around a little still whiny and tired, but he is drinking...some but eating like a champ I got him some popsicles and he loves them! Thanks again I figured if he wasnt eating or drinking by tomorrow I was going to bring him into his pedi.View Thread

He also is starting to hold his own bottle, and he gets himself in the crawling postion and rocks back and forth lol hes not sure how to go forward yet but he will get there View Thread
Where did you plan to give birth to your LO? I planned for the hospital it was my first and I was nervous as is and wanted to make sure I was prepared for anything.
Where did you have your LO? I had him in the hospital thank goodness because I ended up needing a c-section so im pretty sure I made the right choice as far as the hospital went. lol
Were you prepared? or Would you have done something differently?I was not prepared for my c-section but took it like a champ. I dont think I could have done anything differently just went with the flow.
Was there a funny or intense moment that stuck out through it all? Well I dont remember my funny moment personally but my SO for sure does. I was in labor for 24 hours before we did the c-section and I was soooo tired I had fell asleep on the operating table. My SO said the doctors we laughing because I was SNORING so loud lol!!!
