My daughter is 7 months old and is in the process of learning object permanence. She is very clingy to me, isn't even content with daddy holding her in the same room as me.
When its just the two of us she mostly fusses if I don't hold her, but sometimes plays on the floor near me. If I leave her in a safe place (swing, playpen, jumperoo, etc.) and leave the room after a couple minutes she's (sometimes is instantly) fine but as soon as she sees me fusses.
Its hard to get things done because she constantly wants me. I could wear her all day but it would still be hard to because she would be in-between me and the stuff I need to do.
Since LO was born I have been telling SO that the chest clip of her car seat has to be up level with her armpits and I'm constantly finding it almost near the buckle. [br>[br>Just yesterday before I put her in the car (after he put her in her seat) I checked and it was wrong, I even showed my mom. He got all defensive and told me the baby must move it down or something because he puts it up by her chest every time.[br>[br>Well I never have problems with it randomly migrating south. And I really don't know what to do. At some point he's going to take her out on his own without me to fix it.View Thread
