I do coupons to also save money. Most of which are printed online since I always forget to get a paper and only get it for the coupons anyway. I make a grocery list and try to stick to it pretty closely to avoid over spending, but it's still difficult some days. At least I forget less when I use one. Oh, I also stay out of the toy aisle when shopping with LO!
She prefers to play with my stuff anyway! But, when I do get her something it's simple stuff she'll use after playing with it for a week or so - a bath sponge or small bottle of lotion, etc. It works! I'm trying to use vinegar, baking soda, etc to clean with now, just started though. My biggest cleaning secret is to avoid messing up things in the beginning. The less you make a mess the less you have to clean up! I hate to dust, so when we moved, I didn't unpack a lot of junk that requires cleaning! I'm using a dust mop that's washable too.
Nothing too wild or green, but it works here!View Thread

Personally, I've breastfed for 22 months - just weaned this week, and use infant potty training starting at six months. We didn't CIO because I couldn't stand to hear my LO crying longer than a couple minutes! I plan to home school too. I am an older mom, 41, but this is still my first child.
I'm tickled that Kim has created this board for those of us who want to stick together and understand each other better, and help one another. Thanks Kim!View Thread
