A point I'd like put out there is this:
It's awesome that parents educate their kids about sex in their own home. I think that's where it's more effective for the kids. Learning it from their parents, the most important peers in their lives. BUT not all parents do this. Some parents either chose not to discuss it because they don't want to deal with it and they let the schools teach it. OR they're not in touch with their kids and chose to ignore bringing these issues up.
I also think that being educated about sex doesn't necessarily mean the kids will now have thoughts in their heads. It may just be the opposite. They may learn these things and like most kids get grossed about the details they may learn.
I just think it's benefical for kids to learn about these things BEFORE they get all hormonal and want or get curious about acting on such urges. I know I don't want my DD learning about these things when she's 16 when most likely she has already had a boyfriend in school. I'd like her to know about these things before hand so she knows the safest way to go about these things IF she choses to do so. Because lets face it, peer pressure is hard at that age.View Thread

Oh.... one more question. Where can I find pure lanolin? Does it even have to be pure or can it be a blend? What do you use?View Thread

Anyhow,
I was recently looking online for a new cover since she's needs new ones but I would like something that is VERY breathable since I live in Arizona. I wanted to know if anyone has used a knitted wool cover(soaker)? I hear they are great to prevent wicking on outside clothes BUT I'm hesistant.
Has anyone used a wool cover? Do you have to re-lanolize them often?
My mother in law knitts DD all kinds of unpractical things so maybe if it works out I can just have her knit some wool covers instead of some god aweful sun hat (I love my MIL BTW lol).
Thanks

Right now I can't be a SAHM even if I wanted to (which I don't right now so it works out). Maybe you could work 20-30 hours a week or just weekends. That way you can still earn money and see your LO more.View ThreadWomen's Health Newsletter
