I don't smoke neither take drugs. Tongue problems started in June 2012 and are chronic now. After seeing more doctors it seems clear that my white tongue is due having a dry tongue. I don't know what is causing the dry tongue only I know is that I never had this problem before in my life.
Yes, with me they took an oral swab which came back positive for HPV-16.
I have had 6 HIV1 1/2 Elisa 4th Generation up to about 20 months post incident -negative, 1 HIV-1 PCR RNA about 22 months post incident -negative, and normal CD4/CD8 counts at about 20 months post incident.
Therefore, I don't think more CD4 and CD8 counts are needed in my case.
However, since my problems subsiste, and my tongue is totally white and very sore at times, I will continue updating my case until I find the solution to these problems.View Thread
Yes,unfortunately I have a white film on the whole tongue (not just in the back) that can not be scrapped. this started in June 2012 and persists until now (November 2013). Foamy saliva and sore tastebuds are the other symptoms.View Thread
