It would be good to know if these problems came out of the blue? did you eat something that you think could have caused that? did you have unprotected sex (including oral) with your partner?
If you can, please post a pic of your tongue to compare.
Best wishes.

I don't know if HPV is the reason? I don't know what's the reason anymore.
Are you a girl or a guy? I am a guy and I received unprotected oral sex (fellatio) from a girl. The intercourse was protected.
Does your tongue looks like mine's? do you have similar symptoms? if yes, for how long already?

i don't smoke and my symptoms came 'out of the blue' so I think there's definitely a connection with the sexual exposure I had.
have you been to an ENT? have you had an oral swab to rule out candida and/or bacteria?View Thread

Please keep us updated on your result.
To everyone: I went today to an ENT doctor. He looked at my tongue and diagnosed with swollen tongue. He says the reason of my irritated papillae is my swollen tongue. Because my tongue is big, it causes friction between my teeth and tip of tongue causing the irritation. At least, that's his diagnosis.
He gave a Vitamin B shot today and suggested me to take both probiotics and Vitamin B for the next 3 months. I am going to follow his advice, but I am not sure if lack of vitamins is the reason of these tongue problems.
I will continue updating.View Thread
