Our friends 15-year-old just found out that he will need to have his tonsils removed sometime in June after school is out. He was planning on going on vacation with us to an amusement park with rides and roller coasters (also in June), but now I am wondering how long we should wait before taking this trip.
I ask this because I have heard that it will take at least a week to heal, but it can cause bleeding if you run or get bumped around within the first month of the surgery. I just didn't know what was true in this case or when it will be actually safe to take him on this trip. Thanks for your help. View Thread
