I'm due for a root canal treatment ten days from now, but I'm beginning to experience pain again in that tooth in the middle of the night, which is aggravated immediately after I wake up. My dentist prescribed me antibiotics about two weeks ago to help with the pain, and for a week it did stop, but as I said the pain is starting to come back. My dentist told me that I shouldn't take anymore antibiotics since I already finished the normal 7-day course, but what can I do to alleviate the pain? It's starting to get really bad right after I wake up. Also, is this pain normal even if I already finished taking antibiotics more than a week ago?View Thread
