Red, swollen, or bleeding gums could be gingivitis, which can cause teeth to loosen and fall out. (See the image below to see what gingivitis might look like)

Caused by candida yeast, thrush is most common in older adults or babies. But a weakened immune system, antibiotics, diabetes or certain medications such as inhaled corticosteroids can give candida a chance to grow wild.
To see what thrush, and many other oral problems look like, check out our slideshow on Top Problems in Your Mouth .

If there are an inflamed gums, dentist associates it with the possible connection of an increased plaque or too much fat stored in the arterial area. Most gum disease is caused by Preventella Intermedia and Tannerella Forsynthesis. These two oral pathogens are proven to increase the risk of the patient to have a heart attack. In actuality, there had been a study made in the University of Buffalo in New York. A sample of dental plaque was collected and it was proven that an increase in oral bacteria also increases the odds of heart attack.
.
There are so many ways on how we can avoid gum diseases. One easy way to prevent them is to have a regular checkup and examination with our trusted dentist. We can also prevent gum disease by simply brushing and making use of a dental floss at least two times a day. To prevent the occurrence of gum disease is better than visiting your dentist for cure. Do not forget the importance of regular dental check up for a healthy teeth and gums.View Thread
I have had my first Root Canal ever at age 41, after doing it .
I went to my Regular Dentist and we did the mold, and he put in a
Temp. where it will go. Well it has constantly fallen out(not on my part)!! I have chewed directly on it.
But now today on Dec.24, 2010, my 4th temp. has now fallen out
again.
This mean's I will be going for a 5th one! What is the problem.
Everyone I know has had a permanant cap, and NEVER , EVER;
had to go through what I am.
You can understand with this beautiful timing. Right smack in the
middle of the Holiday's???
ANY HELP, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT !!!!
Thank You,

Sara spent years in agonizing pain, until her dentist noticed her unusually moving one cheek at an appointment. After testing her bite, the professional was able to correct her alignment. Today, Sara lives without her awful neck pains or constant migraines thanks to her dentist!
Has anyone else found their mouth to be the root of excruciating headaches? Have a similar story to Sara's? Please feel free to share your thoughts and experiences.View Thread
