approximtely right where the transplant was done, above my right groin, I seem to be bloating ...lloks like I'm 9 months pregnant. Cannot feel any pulsating but it's getting more and more annoying to deal with. Dry weight going down and waist size going up.
Anyone else experienced this. I have had MRI's and the doctors say they see nothing?View Thread

My dad is currently on dialysis and recently had a series of complications. He developed TIA's (ischmatic small strokes) and is now on blood thinners and heparin drip. He is still in the hospital, and yesterday, the cardiologist told him he has water around his heart, which is common on dialysis and a valve calcification. He was recently cleared for transplant and I was going to be worked-up to be his donor. Now i am wondering, is he still a candidate for kidney transplant??

My step brother had an emergency transplant last year, his a 16 year old white male. No health problems until his liver suddenly failed last year. He is now on the road to recovery however is now experiencing extreme and severe itching on a constant basis. The doctors can not find an explanation of what is causing this itching or have any ideas on how to stop it which is what has lead me to this web site. I am praying to find someone that has or knows another person that has gone through the same thing and has maybe found a solution?
Thank you.

My father had a kidney transplant a year ago and was working fine. He just got a major heart surgery done and they had to use the dye for an angiogram which they were worried would harm the kidney....which it did...now my father is on hemodialysis, as he's not urinating....any suggestions that may help him jump start his kidney?
They said they still have a little hope for it to work.
He now has no chance of getting on the waiting list for another kidney.View Thread
I had a kidney transplant 9 weeks ago. My numbers are all good, but I'm sleeping really poorly. Since those numbers are good, my docs don't want to switch meds. In the meantime I need help. Anyone with similar problems and, perhaps, a solution?View Thread
I had assumed that dying at home would make it impossible for her to donate organs or tissue. Then decided to check that assumption.View Thread
