I had my right hip replaced 2-1/2 years ago at 56. I was in so much pain before and after the surgery. After the surgery was way different pain than before the surgery, after I healed I felt great. Shortly after I had my hip replaced, I found out I had osteoarthritis in both my knee's. I have more pain in my left knee, yet I still feel weakness in my right hip. My general doctor told me I should start seeing my doctor who preformed the surgery for more effective shots. I'm on general assistance for medical help and they only pay $10,000 for surgery. My hip replacement was over $90,000. I got help through the hospital but I not sure they will help me again. I can't bear the thought of waiting so long like I did before having the surgery. I also couldn't sit, lay down or walk without being in extreme pain. Good luck to all of you. It was nice reading your stories. DebView Thread
