For the last several years I have suffered with mild to severe pain in my left knee, which my family Dr. diagnosed as osteo-arthritis. My Dr. indicated that I would eventually need a knee joint replacement. I have read several articles in medical publications about consuming gin-soaked raisins for osteo-arthritis, so I decided to try them about four months ago, and thank God I did, they have worked wonders for me. To try them for yourself, here are the instructions. 1. Dump a 15 or 16 oz. box of dark or golden raisins into a glass ovenware container approx. 8 inches long x4 or 5 inches wide with a sealable lid. 2. Pour the least expensive gin you can find over the raisins, just enough to cover them all. It help to seperate the raisins and spread them out evenly on the botton of the dish before covering with gin. 3.Put the dish in the mirowave oven for approx. 2 and 1/2 minutes or till you see the gin start to bubble. Take out of the microwave and let cool on the counter with a towel over the dish for about 3 hrs. 4. Stir the cooled raisins with a spoon and put in the fridge over-nite. Next morning remove from the fridge and stir the raisins again to mix the raisins well. 5. Take a large table spoon, approx. 20 to 24 raisins every morning. Consuming at this rate a batch will last approx. 30 day. Hope this works for you as well as it has for me.
