Doing squats on a Total Gym (2 or 3 reps of 20) at an incline, taking Nopalea, whirlpool baths and a proactive attitude through prayer have helped me tremendously. Surgery was recommended several years ago for both knees (during which time I could hardly walk). I've had theraphy in the past and I also get viscosupplementation (injections) twice a year. I stopped using a cane two months ago and have not taken a pain killer for 3 weeks now. I am 65 years old and commute more than 100 miles M-F each way to work.View Thread
