Hi, You seem to be suffering from multiple disorders! Have tried changing your diet? Diet and lifestyle changes can help your arthritis and lower your cholesterol as well. You can start by limiting your consumption of foods such as organ meats which contain processed meats, including hot dogs, bologna and sausage; whole milk and ice cream; fried foods; butter, shortening and lard. Try to settle with soluble fiber which can be found in food such as oatmeal, apples, kidney beans, peaches, prunes, bananas and broccoli. These can reduce cholesterol absorption from the intestines. Go for omega-3 fatty acids found in fish that ease arthritis inflammation and can have a cholesterol-lowering effect as well. However, Losing 5 or 10 pounds often makes a difference — for arthritis and cholestrol. I have also heard that stem cell therapy works effectively in orthopedic conditions particularly arthritis joint pains. One of my colleagues had treatment for his arthritis from a clinic in Boca Ranton and he seems to be doing well now. I guess this is an option that you can try out for your shoulder pains.View Thread
You seem to be suffering from multiple diseases. Have you tried controlling your food to reduce symptoms? Food can really help in reducing cholestrol, diabetes as well as joint pains.
Why don't you try out food such as oatmeal, apples, kidney beans, peaches, prunes, bananas and broccoli which reduces cholesterol absorption from the intestines which also works in reducing joint pains. Try to limit your consumption of foods such as organ meats and processed meats which works in increasing the cholestrol levels and contributes to joint pains as well. You can try consuming omega-3 fatty acids which are found in fish that ease joint inflammation that can have a cholesterol-lowering effect as well. Fortified food are also great while walnuts and almonds are supposed to lower the bad cholestrol levels. I have also heard about stem cell therapy giving great relief for orthopedic conditions. I've heard of a clinic in Boca Ranton who provides this treatment really effectively, maybe it is another option you can try out.
Thankyou very much for your reply. I went through your profile and noted that you went through a stem cell therapy for your OA treatments. Can you please explain the procedure of stem cell therapy and how it is treated? As I said earlier, I am NOT looking for any traumatic options and I am willing to try out this treatment out as long as I can avoid surgery. View Thread
I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and been having severe pains in my knees. Although I went through Cortisone injections treatment, the pain just keep coming back. I have had it for two times now and I don't think it does any good and I don't want to go through it again. My doctor suggests a surgery so that it will relieve my unvearable pain but I do not want to go through any surgeries. Would anyone here be knowing any non traumatic treatments for my condition? I would appreciate if anyone can share with me about whatever non-surgical orthopedic treatments experienced and let me know where I can get the treatment as I'm living a painful life and desperately want to get rid of it.View Thread
