Hi. I am a singer/songwriter/keyboard player. I have played the piano for 49 years. In the last year my hands have begun to deteriorate due to severe pain in all fingers on both hands. I have a record contract and I am in the midst of production on my 2nd album right now. I have been having to turn down and have cancelled some gigs that I already had booked due to the pain. It really sucks and I have no idea what to do about it. I am 58 years of age and have been playing 2 to 8 hours daily now since the age of 9. What can I do?..I do not believe I am up for taking a risk on surgery..I would hate to come out of surgery in worse shape than when I went in. Please help w/ any suggestions. Sincerely, GaryView Thread
