The only thing I made this year was a reservation. We are meeting family in Williamsburg, VA and for a change having Thanksgiving dinner in a colonial tavern. I'm not too sure about this, already missing the leftovers!
Today, 11/11/11, we celebrate Veterans Day in the United States and Remembrance Day in Canada.
My daughter's class made cards and care packages to send overseas. We do not have anyone close to us enlisted now, but we have talked about my father's travels while in the Army, my grandfather serving in WW II and the sacrifices many have made for our freedoms.
Do you have friends or loved ones in the military? What are you doing to recognize and remember those who are and have served?
Osteoporosis means "porous bones" and as we age we have bone loss which can lead to porous bones. Not everyone will lose enough bone to develop osteoporosis, however, many factors increase your chance of developing this disease.
