2 years ago I was found to have osteopenia at T - 2.4 on my spine, I have since had another scan which showed it is now T- 3.5 which I believe is quite severe. The reason I believe I have this is because I had breast cancer and was treated with amongst other things an oopherectomy and arimidex which left me with no estrogen. I raised my concerns with my breast cancer specialist who told me to just eat cheese, not to take calcium as it causes leisions and to keep off the biosophonates. I am not due to see her until July and am trying desperately to get in touch with her to find out what she thinks I should take now that I have followed her advice and ended up with osteoporosis. My own research points me towards Strontium Citrate and I wondered if anyone knows if it has any bad effects towards breast cancer, and kidneys (I only have one). Has anyone seen a reversal in their bone density, and if so, could you please let me know by how much you reversed it what you did to achieve this. Thank you.View Thread
