For me, if I could get over my fears of heights, I think I would love to sky dive.

I would certainly consult your doctor before you do kayak. If your doctor thinks you'll be ok I am sure you'll be fine. NOF has a few articles on exercise, that might help you a bit more too, you can find them here:

Take care and let us know what the doctor says!

Have you or your doctor discussed Omega 3? Are you taking Omega 3?View Thread

Welcome to the Osteoporosis Community. I am sorry you are struggling. We do have a link that discusses this a bit called Low Risk of Jaw Problems With Oral Osteoporosis Drugs.
The article states: "Osteoporosis drugs and serious jaw problems have been linked in past studies", but new research presented at the International Association for Dental Research in San Diego finds a low risk with oral osteoporosis drugs, known as bisphosphonates.
"Echoing the findings of previous studies, the researchers did find a higher increase in risk for intravenous bisphosphonates, taken by a minority of those with osteoporosis."
I hope that will help you find some answers you are looking for.
Please come back often when your questions, this is a great community, with a lot of information for you.
Take care,

2. When you go to the movies, what is your favorite snack to have? (I love milk duds)
3. Do you remember the first movie you ever saw in the theater? (I saw ET in the theater for my first movie)
4. What is your favorite movie? (I have several but I think My Sisters Keeper is one of them, and Congo I love them and of course Dirty Dancing)
5. What plans do you have for the weekend? (well my sister just had a new baby and I think I am going to take my boys over to meet their new cousin)View Thread
