I'm suspecting that you live in the state of New York. The regulation laws in New York do not apply to all fifty states. I would suspect that you are aware that this community is. to limited to persons who live in your state.
Hence, if the reader does. to live in NY, bulldog mommy is not speaking to us.
However, most states have the same sort of registry
There are reasons that controlled meds are monitored. You must know this, no?
This is meant to prevent abusers from getting prescriptions for controlled substances from. Ore-than- one doctor.
Regarding your saying that "they" will call you, etc. Just to whom are you referring when you say, "they"? Has anyone called you.
If I were to be asked by anyone about the reason I am prescribed MSC, I would refer him to my MD who assesses me, prescribes my medicines, and monitors my treatment.
There is no reason that you, or anyone else who is being treated by an MD with opiate therapy has to be concerned about a controlled substance registry. The registry is helping us by weeding out abusers
There are already many info sites, petitions (please read carefully as many of the circulating petitions are extremely poorly constructed)' groups, etc.
I am speaking only for myself; I do. to speak for the group when I beseech you to look elsewhere for anger and solidarity. This is a support community. If others view the issue differently, do speak up.
BTW, there are quite a dew RNs who are active in this community. Sadly, it's not a "weird coincidence", but a statistic. Our jobs are both emotionally and physically challenging. Nurses often get injured at work.

~Hey Andre'~ I don't allow my friends to say self-deprecating things. okay?
You know that you're a fine man and good friend, even though we don't get to talk much these days.
I think it's normal to go through those horrible phases, right? Sometimes we're at peace with lives that have been terribly altered, and other times, it's, to me, like thinking about the past years and can hardly recognize my life and who I am anymore.
Do you know what I mean? Looking at photos from "BEFORE" can be shocking!
Why wasn't I jumping for joy on a daily basis? Why didn't I celebrate every day and night just because I was so healthy?
Life just doesn't work that way, does it? Too bad.
