Found me a great pain management doctor in November 2010. He rushed me through an evaluation and approved to have a neuro-stimulator implant. Best thing I did. Has helped me greatly with back and leg paid. The surgery is done in two parts. You test drive the device for 5 days. They pulled it out, evaluate you and ten days later do the permenant implant. This procedure is done on an outpatient basis. I was only out of work for a week with limitation of lifting and bending for several days. I take no pain meds at all with the exception of advil or tylenol on a daily basis or as needed. The reason for me getting the implant was I had four (4) back surgeries in 9 months with spinal fusion at L5 S1. I lived in pain for two years before I found this guy.View Thread
