The body. The mind. Although joined, treating one and not the other is not good. To avoid depression I think to displace it- by occupation. They use this in OT (Occupational Therapy). The body-crafting photoalbums modelling etc. The mind- concentrating on things other than the pain (get you mind off it) through activities and reading or visits, pets etc. You may simply be left with having to live in pain as I do. If so, what are going to do? Stay occupied as much as possible-sounds like lip service, but it has to be faced. Perhaps anti inflammatorys or cymbalta, that I am not sure of, but that way you'd lose the stomach-not the liver. Make no mistake-it's no picnic. We are not young.View Thread
