too suffer from chronic headaches/neck aches . now it has gone into fibromyalgia cuz the body gets use to being in pain and then that is all it knows. for me, drs just prescribe pills and think they have taken care of the problem. i will share with you what has helped me. i am now able to waterski, hike, wakeboard , and lift wts again. i have to monitor myself and still have very bad days but at least good days too. there is a chiropractor that is called NUCCA , its' not cheap but you are worth it! chek it out. neither of these types are popping and cracking chiros. or ... SPINAL NETWORK ANALYSIS. i have fibro, hashimotos, which is killing my thryoid off. if thyroid is low, then adrenals are prob low too as in my case, and this causes many prob but alot of muscle pains. quit gluten and sugar as well. decreases inflammation. good luck . keep me posted.View Thread
hi i have been experiencing the same thing. after 3 .5 years, i have finally, with no help from drs, come up with things that have helped me considerably. first of all, did your pains start after your baby was born?? if that is the case, you need to get tested for hashimotos. it is a simple blood test. get all your thryoid levels cehked. not just TSH but free T3 , free T4 and the thyroid antibodies. as in my case, i was postive. this is a autoimmune disease that kills off the thyroid slowly and makes you miserable along the way. ..... taking armour or cytomel will prob help ... not just synthyroid. although thats what the drs will tell you is the treatment. i go with alternative treatments instead of western med. . for me, i tAKe mrs braggs apple cidar vinegar, organic, unfiltered. i mix it with :1-2 Tbsp and 1/4 to 1/2 teasp. of baking soda. i take it daily. it has helped alot. also, i see a chiropractor that is called SPINAL network analysis. you can google one in your area. let me know how you do. its' not cheap but at least i have my life somewhat back. oh... quit gluten and sugar!! feel free to respond. i hope this helps you. after what i have been through, i want to help others. there is much more to say but this is all for now.View Thread
