I was very recently infected with genital herpes and have been experiencing tingling, numbness and pain in my legs, back and abdomen. Prescribed Acyclovir and have been taking this for over a week with no relief from pain. Did have chicken pox (herpes zoster) as a child. Is there any connection between the herpes zoster and the HSV2 causing the pain. Aspirin and IBProfin do not help. Is there anything that can help me or is it a wait and see. Can't take the pain. Can't sleep.View Thread
