Here is some information on muscle strains in the thigh that you may be interested in. If the pain is coming from the front of your thigh it may be a strain in your quadriceps muscles -- your quadriceps and hamstrings (in the back of your leg) work to straighten and bend your leg, like in the lunges you were doing when you felt the pop. The RICE method (rest, ice, compression, and elevation) is a good treatment strategy and there is some information in the link above. If you have worsening pain, or if it isn't getting any better after a few days, you should see your doctor for evaluation. Please let us know how you are doing!View Thread

Here is an overview on carpal tunnel syndrome that you might find helpful. Carpal tunnel can cause tightness, pain, weakness, or numbness in the hands and fingers (some people have pain in their arm between the hand and elbow as it seems you do). The article in the link above also says that you may first notice the symptoms at night.
The only way to definitively tell if your pain is a result of carpal tunnel is to schedule an appointment to have your wrist examined by your doctor. The link above also provides some at-home treatments you may want to try. Please let us know how you are doing!
I am so sorry that you are experiencing such extreme pain. I would suggest you make an appointment to see your doctor if you are still having these symptoms. While Bells Palsy can be accompanied by pain, usually behind the ear on the affected sign, it is a good idea to see your doctor to make sure that this pain is not indicative of something else. He/she may also be able to offer you some sort of treatment option to lessen your pain.
