You know the declining condition of my body, well it not my body trying to kill me anymore !! My Brain has joined the party i died last month ! I was found Dead In Bed was resuscitated successfully but immediately dropped into a week long Coma. And boy let me tell you did it scramble my brain the first sentence i said took me like ten minutes to find the words, and there is so much i can't remember, what was i doing with that ,why did i put that there, where did i put ________ trust me you never want to go through it,especially when you come out of the coma and who is at your bedside he neurologist you fired almost 10 years ago, and he is smiling saying you look so good !! compared to what ? in the E.D. when you had no pulse or respiration we didn't think you were gonna come back to us.
And they traced it all back to to a certain bad "rogue" brain wave that can attack me again, but if it does God Only knows if somebody will be around to catch it before it turns me it a corpsical.
A person with an addictive personality can become addicted to ice water or chocolate milk, more and more evidence is showing that it is a genetic mental illness.
You need to be in treatment with a team of doctors An Addiction Psychiatrist and a Pain Management Doctor and they will have you do UA'S frequently to monitor your blood levels of prescribed meds and make sure you atr not going off the Reservation for any other drugs.
Well i will say the medical memory Foam mattress that i sleep on that i bought 4- 4 1/2 years ago i loved it then and i still love it Today ,its not like being in bed its like being suspended in neutral gravity you do not feel like you are laying on anything.
these are just my experiences with the Invacare Medical Memory Foam Mattress which is used to relieve shearing and pressure sores cauesed by traditional mattresses of those at risk for skin breakdown (such as those of us who's bed is there oasis from PAIN caused by sitting, and some days when getting out of bed is just tou much and not worth the effort.
I sleep in a full electric (goes up and down and the fet and head go up and down at the push of a button) Hospital bed made for home care and chucked the crappy mattress it came with and spent $500 dollars on a three level sculpted memory fom mattress made by the company that makes the bed,no pressure points, no huge amounts of pain ,My bed is my escape from it all!!.My oasis of almost free of pain from my wheelchair because i'm so thin when i sit in my chair i sit directly on both sciatic nerves which is really painful so when i can not tolerate that any longer its back into bed i go. And yes chronic disease whether its MD MS CP Chronic Pain all put you on an emotional roller coaster as well as leave you vulnerable to depression, we carry crosses that other people can never imagine nor fully understand how how much of us those crosses consume of energy, attitude, strength, forgiveness, all the aspects of life.,View Thread
i have no small step for man, but i have 6 tires for mankind,Watch your Toes!
I was once prescribed methadone but refused to take it because it was a temporary neuro;gist who was "Opiaphobic" Doctor who would not give me my regular Fentanyl and Oxycodone well in the Hospital. So i called my Internist who wrote my regular meds and said "save the methadone when the neurologist comes in again spit them at him". So well in the hospital the nurse's fed me my pills and i did not take the methadone and took my own Meds that the hospital did not know. Which by the way is against the law for a hospital not to know what a Patient is taking well admitted.
Chronologically my health and therefore my career went south when i hit thirty i am now 44 but many days i feel more like 144 just getting out of bed into my wheelchair. Pre 30 i was the guy who worked extra duty shifts so the guys with families could be off with their families did not bother me at all to pull 96 hour weeks and now i have nothing to show for it just a beat up worn out dying body that used to save lives, who now could mot even save himself!>
Bet said it all pretty well except that the part about "subluxations" in the Real Medical world a Doctor See'S one and you are strapped down so your body does not move ant they then proceed to attach sandbags to your hrad to pop Mr.Disk back into alignment ,this is formally known as traction, and is rarely used these days in modern medicine but Chiro's ail pull twist bend until your teeth tattle and day its good fir YOU.
