I have been posting since before WebMD took over, so I never wrote a profile. I give all kudos to my training as an RN at College of Marin. Though at least one of my four siblings would tell you that compassion runs in our family. I do appreciate all the kind words though.
I don't believe there is an as needed medicine that has been invented as of yet that is as strong as opioid drugs are. I am an RN and do keep up on pain meds in particular. I would love to hear that I am wrong.
My new doctor has a great way of looking at things, he suggests the patient jump up and down to see if anything juggles, and he asks how they feel. When I jumped up and down, my lower abdomen juggles, but I told him I felt great but needed a tummy tuck. He actually laughed. Probably at the old lady who needed a tummy tuck.
