I'm glad everything has worked out for you! It's such a shame that your dr. of 17 yrs. would automatically defend the test first and not you. Wouldn't it have been nice if he had said, "I know this test must be wrong b/c she has been my patient long enough that I know better"?
Oh well.....best of luck to you!View Thread

I've heard of this happening before. I would ask the dr. to retake the test and "remind" him/her of the positive results on the blood test.
How long have you been going to this dr.? Surely your past record with this dr. should count for something.View Thread

I am so sorry to hear about all of your pain & suffering! You've really been through the ringer. I have a brain malformation and many other things, so I can relate to the constant pain. I had a hip replacement a few yrs ago (only 44 yrs old now) and they damaged the femeral nerve in my right leg. That's nothing compared to the nerve damage you have suffered, but I do know how awful nerve problems can be. I also have neuropathy amongst my many problems. So glad you get some peace of mind from God. Sometimes it's hard to understand why we must suffer on & on. It doesn't quite make since, but thank God we have him on our side, right! Couldn't make it without him. God bless you & your wonderful husband!View Thread

I agree that our attitude while in pain does matter. Sometimes when I'm having one of my worse days, I call my mom who is also suffering and sometimes together we can make each other feel better. It can also go the other way if we're not careful. I think anything that we can do to take our minds off of ourselves has the possibility of making it seem better. There are times though that are so bad, you just have to do what you can to make it through. Hoping your all having a better day!View Thread
