Our son has never been a good sleeper and has never stopped moving since the day he was born. He finally started takin gd naps around 12-13 months, like 1.5 to 2 hrs a day. When he was about 6 weeks, bedtime started to become a hassle, he'd cry and cry and the only way we could get him to sleep was lay him on the couch on a soft blanket and turn the fuzz up really loud on the tv. At about 13 months he finally started to sleep through the night here and there and was ok with goin to sleep at night. About 6 weeks ago bedtime has gotten crazy, he so tired he cant keep his eyes open yet he wants to keep goin and goin. He's had the same routine since forever, so that hasnt changed. Two weeks ago we tried to take the bottle away which made bedtime even worse, the bottle at least relaxes him. We've tried for a month to just put him in his crib and put himself to sleep but listening to my baby cry for 1-2 hours kills me and we go in an give im a bottle and he goes to sleep.
I dont know what else to try and with the new baby comming in 8 weeks or less, i really would like him to go to bed a lil easier. I guess i would never have imagined at 15 months our lil boy wouldnt sleep through the night and have such a difficult time going to sleep.View Thread
My son was 31.5 inches and 24.5 lbs at his 12 month, so i guess to me that sounds fine. My son is tall and very thin looking, hard to believe at his 15 month he is 32.5 inches and weighs 26.2 lbs when i can see his ribs sticking out when he is standing.View Thread
Sorry cant help you my son is 14 months and still gets up once or twice a night for a bottle, every once in a while he'll make it through the night. I dont have the heart to let him "cry it out" so i just get up and feed him.View Thread
I wish my 13 month old would sleep through the night. He finally at around 11 months learned how to take a nap longer than 15-20 mins and is now sleeping 1.5-2 hrs. I tell DH that the new baby will be sleeping through the night before he does! Hes got 3.5 months to learn!View Thread
My son started biting at about 10 months old, he'll bite you and laugh, when you tell him no he does it again. One day when he was at my moms he was wearing his shirt that says watch out i bite and she read it and he crawled up to her and bit her in the leg. I found that ignoring it and putting him down when he does gets better results.View Thread
Is he teething, is he not getting enough sleep, there could be a lot of reasons he could be grumpy, my lil man started getting grumpy cuz he doesnt wanna go to bed anymore. I think him not getting the shot could be way more harmful than getting the shot. I guess if you want some comfort you could always see his doctor.View Thread
Did you talk to her about your concerns? I know you said you've asked many questions. but maybe give it one more shot and maybe tell her what you expect of her? I wouldnt think that would be over-stepping, after all you are paying for the service, just be polite View Thread
