We were prepared for both births as in everything was ready room wise, cloths washed. I hadnt packed my hospital bag yet when my son was born and my friend was visiting me that weekend, i still had 10 days until my due date, most women were telling me that your first baby will be late. My hubby was also gone with army training, daddy would have still been gone if he would have been born on his due date. so i would have like dh to be there. But he was there when our daughter was born and nothing really went out of the ordinary with her birth itself
I remember when I got to the hospital to have my son and i learned i was too far along to get any drugs/epidural once the anistesiologist(sp) got there(my son was born on a sunday i guess he was on call). I said outloud "What no drugs?" i remember for my daughter's birth, being reay to push, 10 cm dialated and very uncomfortable and the nurses waiting for the doctor to get in the room. They told me to wait and i just started to cry but he was there a few seconds later and my baby girl came into the worldView Thread
