I think we'll be buying DD unlimited ride wristbands as soon as she's big enough. She loves going on rides. We went to our State Fair last weekend and this weekend and she kept asking "We go on wides?" and was excited when she got to go on two rides with her brother. Her brother likes the tame rides whereas she likes those but also likes the faster rides as well.View Thread
There's no such thing as overpacking with kids. If we're going to be someplace two days, I'll pack 3 shirts and 3 shorts/pants. I do not count on them wearing the same shirt/pants/shorts more than once. I'll make sure I take extra diapers because who wants to run out of diapers where you either cannot buy anymore or they cost an arm and a leg.View Thread
Try giving him apple sauce, bananas, and cheese. All are binding and will help with the loose stools. Also, try not to give him too much juice as the sugar will cause the loose stools to continue.View Thread
Trust me, you don't want your child to get used to you lying with him. My SIL still has to do that with her younger kids and they're 4 & 3.
Just abuot the only thing you can do is put him to bed and close the door. If he gets up, put him back in bed without saying anything. You may have to do this many times and for several nights but eventually he'll get the idea.View Thread
He's doing well. We've noticed lately that he's repeating what we say without prompting. He is talking more which is good but still has words that you can't really understand unless you know what he's talking about.
They recently changed one of his OT sessions to 2p since his regular therapist left and he has a new one. He has speech at 3p so it's going to be cutting it close to get to that one on time. Luckily, they aren't that far from each other.View Thread
