I wish I was organized enough to plan ahead for meals. Came home last night and DH had dinner ready and kids fed. Thinking of having either hamburgers or grilled cheese with tomato soup tonight.
Friday is DD's birthday (2) so mommy is taking her and DS to lunch and mommy and daddy are taking everyone to dinner. We're having her party Saturday so not sure what we're having there since it will at grandma and grandpa's house.View Thread
Friday-I was too sick to do anything and DH had band practice.
Saturday-still getting over being sick. We were going to go to a party at a bar we go to but as I said above, I was still getting over being sick.
Sunday-still getting over being sick but felt better.
Halloween-took kids T or Ting. Next door neighbor had decorations with a strobe light and everything. DS (4) thought the decorations were cool but DD (2) wasn't too sure. When we got to the door, a fog machine went off and pushed her over the edge and she started screaming and crying. She got two pieces of candy there. After that house, everything was okay. Not many houses on our street give out candy but that was okay.View Thread
Didn't do much this weekend. We're sort of cash-strapped at the moment so anything that took money or even gas was out of the question. Took the kids for a short walk Saturday and took DS for a longer walk while DD was sleeping. Ended up getting sick Saturday so DH was in charge of the kids' baths. Sunday was a lazy day. Took the kids for a short walk after DD's nap and then pretty much stayed home the rest of the day. DH had band practice in the evening but that was pretty much it.View Thread
My DS was evaluated when he was a bit older than 18 months. In California, we have a program called Alta Regional Services that provides services such as speech therapy for children under age 3 at no cost. He was diagnosed with a speech delay and has been in speech therapy since he was about 2. He's now four and is in speech therapy twice a week through the school district (the district took over when he turned 3) and twice a week through our insurance and we have seen improvement.View Thread
