I'm moderating a new WebMD community Raising FIT Kids about....raising fit kids!
Right around the corner is solid food and walking! Now is a perfect time to chat about creating a healthy life for your kids.
I come from a long line of inactive over-eaters and am trying to break the cycle with my 2 and 6 year old girls. We'll be discussing lots of ways to incorporate healthy eating and activity into your family life. There's also an expert on hand to answer questions.
Would love if you could stop by, ask a question or chime in on a discussion -
Tax breaks will now be given for breast-feeding supplies, the IRS says. The tax break changes come about in light of a Harvard study done by the Harvard Medical School that stated, "if 90 percent of mothers followed the standard medical advice of feeding infants only breast milk for their first six months, the United States could save $13 billion a year in health care costs and prevent the premature deaths of 900 infants each year from respiratory illness and other infections."
Hi Ladies! Many of the ladies that left the board for the most part are together now on Facebook. We have our own group where we can share pictures and videos of our LO's. We also have a discussion board that works just like the old message boards. Anyway, it is a really cool and helpful vibe we have going on over there, so if anyone wants to join we would loooooove to have new members! The group is private so that any information to share such as vents about family or dr. questions about LO will not be able to be seen by anyone outside the group.
soooo... you all should really check us out. I am sure you will see a ton of familiar faces over there, and if not you can at least meet a few new mommies to share with!
