We have 4adults that we all got as puppies. They are amazing with DS. The first 2 we got before DS1's birth and the second 2 when DS was about 1 & 1/2. That being said all of them have taken to DS1 as their boy! When he cries they check on him, when he wants to play they are ready and when he lays down they are right there to snuggle. I have pics of the oldest and DS1 sleeping together on a blanket when DS was about 5months old. Needless to say, DS has never been bit and if he was knocked over it was while they were playing. When he walks in the door they are all excited to see him but wont jump on him. They are not yappee dogs at all and were rather easy to train. We never did obedience training with them, but they all listen very well and know the basics from sit and stay to down and come. And ours very in size any where from 10lbs to 25 lbs... And because they are part poodle they are less allergenic and do not shed!
Sorry this is so long, this breed isnt as popular as lab or goldens but they are def a great family dog!!!View Thread

Outside of swimming he loves his water guns, if he could he would have me chasing him and vice-versa all day everyday! Another big hit with his is the grow-with-me roller skates!

He's def not a child that will sit in a car or sandbox for any period of time!View Thread

Hope all is well and it doesn't effect the tests!View Thread

I just saw this posting... I havent been t any yard or garage sales looking for baby stuff so I wouldnt know the average pricing, but hope it went well and you got a few $s in your pocket!View Thread

A few of my co-workers are setting up a shower for me at the end of July and they keep asking for my opinion on everything so when it comes to games, I will def refer to this discussion! Now that I am seeing the dr every two weeks I feel like its coming fast! Kinda nervous about getting everything ready! lol...
But i love these ideas! At DS1's baby shower we did a jeopardy game with the theme of winnie the pooh, and played a game where each person had to put a penny between their knees and walk across the room and drop it in the jar... That was pretty funny to watch and try to do!

sad to say but at this age kids are so easily pleased with material things. I know that if DS1 thinks that DS2 brought him a present he would be much more accepting esp when everyone is fondling over the baby and DS1 is no longer the main attraction!...
Allowing DS1 to pick something out for the baby will make him feel more a part of the situation!...
I personally like the matching bear idea!!!

Ds1's father and I split up when he was 3months old and havent really had a good relationship for the past three years he has been in and out of DS' life and I didnt approve. In the last 8months, he has really started stepping up tho so our relationship has gotten better for our son...
I am thinking of doing a plate with DS' hand in the middle and letting him decorate the rest... and maybe doing a homemade card from DS... Nothing big but it will be his first fathers day as a real dad! Just hope that he continues to play a positive role in DS' life!!!View Thread

Thats great to hear you're doing well getting so close to EDD! Hope you have a good shower and get everything needed for LO.
DS sounds like he is adjusting well to the transitions. I havent even started redoing the boy's rooms... They will be sharing a room for a while until we move that will hopefully start to happen this month & DS seems really excited about the changes!
As for me, I am super uncomfortable, at my last dr appt I had only gained 13lbs but all the weight gain seems to be in the belly and now LO is soo big he can be felt in my whole stomach rib and back area, not much room for breathing! lol...
only like 87days left or something like that so the count down is on! Otherwise, LO and I are healthy so no matter how uncomfortable I am I know he is doing well so thats all that really matters!
keep in touch & i will see you on the 2nd tri borad next week!
