What does everyone have planned for the weekend?
My parents are coming up tomorrow to pick DS up and take him back to their place for the week (the beach!) So he will have a blast next week at the beach. Sunday relax, wash clothes, pack, and clean house, might steam clean the carpet if I have time. Monday I am actually leaving to go to a spa with my BFF and DH is going to visit his BFF and we will meet back home on Wednesday. I will miss DH and DS but I am looking forward to the spa and some alone time. I have never been to a spa and I am very excited!! Back to work Thursday and then off Friday for Easter so I have a wonderful short work week next week!!View Thread

I sometimes do what Jackie mentioned and give a small reward if he stays in his bed the next night. Usually it's going to the park, reading extra books, having a special snack.
I also praise him every morning and tell him how happy mommy is that he stayed in bed and didnt wake up. Sometimes now when I go in to wake him for daycare he will ask me...Did I stay in bed all night?View Thread

As for his Easter basket.....my DS does not like chocolate and really he doesnt like most sweets so I pack his backet full of other stuff. I got some matchbox cars, new underware, roller skates (the fisher price ones that fit over his shoes), and a golf set, a small football that changes colors, and a few suckers (the one candy he eats)View Thread

Sarah - Congrats on baby girl!

What does everyone have planned for this weekend??
DH has to work tomorrow so I am going to take DS on a "date" for breakfast! He has heard DH and I mention date before and he said he wanted to go so I thought I would take him to breakfast tomorrow. Then I will probably do a quick clean house and wash clothes before DH gets home. Not sure what we will do that evening.
We go to my parents house every Easter since its a long weekend off work and it's a 4hr drive...so this Sunday we will go to DS parents house and dye eggs and maybe do a small easter egg hunt if the weather is nice, that way they can enjoy in some of the Easter fun.View Thread

Right now he will help dust (I spray the cloth for him), sweep, unload the dishwasher, holds the cord while I vacuum, he does also help clean the table after dinner, once in a while I let him help wash any pots and pans that we have from dinner. His daily "chores" are feeding the cat, making up his bed (he usually just pulls the comforter up), cleaning up his toys before bed. And he LOVES to help with cooking dinner. I let him help with that when I can.
