For eg my DD wanted to use the bathroom in her KG classroom today while having our tour and I noticed that the seat was up. (A boy had used the bathroom before her) I put the seat down and told her to go use the bathroom. In my house I dont have boys and DH always puts the seat down after use. So I never brought this issue with my DD who has been attending a private preschool for past 2 years.
It suddenly occured to me whether my DD would know or not that she needs to put the seat down in order for her to use the potty. What if she has used the potty in her preschool with the seat up? What if she has directly sat on the bowl itself? I dont know whether I should ask her this and tell her the concept of seat up/down thing? should I explain to her that in KG if she finds the seat up she needs to put it down before using the potty?View Thread

On the first day of school I went to school just to make sure which door they enter and I saw DD enter door 3 into the cafeteria. after she came back from school I just told her that she needs to enter the school through door 3 ( the one that she went in that day )But the next day she said she walked "little further" coz she didnt look properly and got lost. But she realised and went inside the school. Now I am feeling really bad for not "showing" her the exact door that she needs to enter after getting down the bus. I should have specifically asked the staff on tour day and maybe showed her so that she wont forget. I just assumed that there will be staff there to guide them. If she enters door 2 then she will not know how to go to the cafeteria. I am just feeling very bad.
Sorry, its just that I worry excessively.View Thread

I am planning to have another baby only becoz my DD wants and needs a sibling...In the long term she will benefit from it. I am just not ready- physically or emotionally. but DH insists we have another one. I am a SAHM and I just feel depressed.
I think its too soon to think abt ADD. Just give your DD some time.View Thread
